I've been meaning to start a blog for a while. Not because the world needs another blog, but because I keep running into the same problem: I learn something, I use it once, and then six months later I've forgotten the details and have to re-learn it all over again.
This is my fix for that.
Next Harizon is a place to write things down so future me can find them. If you're reading this and you're not future me — welcome. Maybe some of this will be useful to you too.
What to expect
No schedule. No niche. I'll write about whatever I'm working on:
- Projects I'm building (and what went wrong)
- AI tools and how I'm using them day-to-day
- Web development, static sites, keeping things simple
- Random things I find interesting
The tech behind this
This site is plain HTML and CSS. No framework, no build step, no database. It lives as files on disk and gets served as-is. I did this on purpose — the simplest thing that works.
That's it for now. First post done.
